New project

Got my new project brief, 'creative practice'. The theme I have chosen is 'pattern'.
I'm going to be looking at vintage fabrics throughout various eras and combine them with my new style of 'whimsical' drawing. I want to create sickeningly patterned images. Going to try and create an alphabet out of people, it's been done before I know... BUT NOT BY ME!! Hopefully after that I can transfer designs into textile approaches and get selling on a stall, woop woop!

i love your whimsical style
i love your whimsical styleYou've got a great sketchyness to your work. Obviously because a lot of them are WIP) but pencil seems to give drawings a bit more of a roughness eh? I also like the way you record your images, not hiding the fact they are from a sketchbook, adds to the raw feel of em'. Especially love your detailed flamech drawing, theres a nice weightyness to this characters stance. Cheers for describing mine as whimsical, spose that's what I'm trying for.
